Flash can be used for virtually any website task, from complete websites to individual movies.  It is particularly impressive when used as an intro to the website, either as a pre-site introduction or a movie on the home page.

It is also used extensively to create animated navigation menus, photo album displays, and multimedia content incorporating sound, graphics, film and video clips.
