What happens to javascripts if a visitor's browser can't use them?

If a visitor's Browser cannot interpret Javascripts, then the functionality and interactivity of the Applet or Script will not be seen by the visitor. Thus if these facilities are used for Navigation purposes, then the visitor is unlikely to be able to navigate the site.

As Javascript is extremely common on virtually every type of site, then users who have javascript disabled on their PCs are losing out on a lot of web functionality.  javascript is very prevalent on ecommerce sites using shopping carts and, coupled with cookies, are virtually essential ingredients of online commerce.
